(This also helps because the public lot behind the theater is quite small, and we had to park in an underlit back alley several blocks away even though we arrived 15 minutes before the show started.). Roxian Theatre is a 1470 capacity destination venue in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, booking a wide variety of live music entertainment. ( Um what?! As soon as we heard about this, we naturally had to buy tickets and ended up getting in to check out a performance by the Aquabats and Reel Big Fish shortly after the theater opened for business. It was not a sold out show, so it wasn't a big deal, but how do you not monitor that?- The bar was crowded at the usual times - but it was nice to have bars on every level. Up from the main floor is a 2nd bar for all patrons plus access to the lower & upper balconys but you need a special ticket.As for the venue itself, you can tell & lot of time, money, & effort was put into turning this 1920's theather into a brand new concert space.
