Actually, my son particularly enjoyed Will's nearly instant acceptance of his, I think I loved this when I read it at the proper age -- 12 or so, I suppose. This story returns to the characters introduced in Over Sea, Under Stone, uniting them with Will Stanton, and involves a quest for magic from beneath the sea. Almost 40 years later, though, it appeals to me much less. Pendragon: This is a reference to two characters. It raises many questions and suggests parallels to events in current history.
